Reasons to why many
individuals perform wrong doings:
Character reasons:
There are those individuals who
perform wrong doings because they have failed to distinguish right from
wrong. They never care and much worse is
that they are out of self gain. There is
no program that would change such people.
Such people whenever they are found within the institution, the
institution is obligated to remove them
Information related reasons:
People make decisions or perform
actions based on the information they have.
It is possible for people having information they need but they do not
understand it, don’t know how to apply it, or in some cases fearing from been
considered by the society as incompetent individuals. This is mostly faced by the new comers within
the organization.
Expectation related reasons:
The pressure from the supervisors to
its subordinates may cause some individuals in performing wrong doings. You may
find for instance an organization expect individuals to ignore a problem of the
situation and get on with the job (“don’t give me an explanation, just get it
done”. Cases)
Judgement related reasons:
Individuals who are experienced with
several dilemmas make their decision basing on their judgemental facts. There is no clear right answer and you might
find an individual conflicting with good values.
